How to make Jeera Rice?




Ingredients:
Basmati Rice – 1 cup
Ghee-4tbsp
Jeera-2tsp
Cinnamon 2-3
Bayleaves
Cloves
Gingergarlic paste-1tsp
Green Chillies-3
Salt
cashewnuts
Coriander leaves
water – 2cups


Method:
1)Heat ghee in a cooker
2)Add cinnamon,bay leaves,cloves,jeera and allow them to splutter.
3)Add slited green chilllies,gingergarlic paste.
4)Add rice,water andsalt.
5)Allow one whistle.
6)Garnish with cashewnuts fried in ghee and coriander leaves.
7)Serve hot with your favourite curry/raita/boondi

Follow the above steps to make Jeera rice and serve hot.
