Ingredients:
Palak – 2 bunches
Basmati Rice – 1cup
Carrot – 1 chopped
Peas – 1/2 cup
Beans – 50gms
Potato – 2 chopped
Ghee – 4tsp
Cinnamon – 2
Onion – 2 chopped
Pudina – 1 cup
Green chillies – 4
Ginger and garlic paste
Oil
Salt
Method: How to cook palak rice
1)Fry the palak leaves with pudina and green chillies for two minutes and grind it to a paste.
2) Place pressure cooker in stove ,heat ghee and oil.
3)Add cinnamon and chopped onions to it.
4)Add ginger garlic paste when onion is cooked.
5)Add chopped vegetables,salt .
6)Add rice and palak paste in the ratio 1:2(add water with the paste).
7)Now close the lid and allow one whistle to cook.
8)Now serve hot with raita .
